Minster at Dusk, York

Minster at Dusk, York

I've just finished three years of study in this beautiful city, and realised how few photographs I've actually taken. No doubt I'll regret it and make some more trips up in the future, but for now will have to turn my sights to London more permanently.

This was shot at the end of a panic binge, in which I exposed around 15 rolls of medium format in the space of a few days.... more than I've managed in the three years before.

I bracketed exposures quite widely over half an hour or so, and this neg was chosen for the Minster's brightness in relation to the surrounding sky.

I travel to York quite often (weekly) but have only managed a couple of rolls of film from there. Although what I have taken have been worthwhile. Lots of opportunities with the station, minster, river and walled city.
Nice shot by the way
