This one's for an annual Invitational Minature Art Show held here in Richmond, Virginia. The rule: no larger than three inches on the longest dimension. Mine is 3 x 3 inches. It's a hand colored bromoil print. I'm posting it small because that's what the show is all about - small images.
Absoflippinlutely gorgeous. Man, I'd buy this in a second if I had the bucks (which, at the moment, I do not), but I'd want to see it every day, and that's sayin' somethin'!!
By Jovo, what a nice comment! Believe it or not, I probably have around six hours in producing this tiny 9 square inch print. I find the very small images much more difficult than those that are many times as large. Makes little sense, huh? Cheers, Gene
Thanks, Nicole and Daniel. I'm afraid I have gotten hooked on bromoil minatures. I worked on a couple more this morning and have managed to speed up the inking. One of the problems, at least for me, is that even the tinyest flaw is soooo obvious with a such small image. Cheers, Gene
