Minature Bromoil

This one's for an annual Invitational Minature Art Show held here in Richmond, Virginia. The rule: no larger than three inches on the longest dimension. Mine is 3 x 3 inches. It's a hand colored bromoil print. I'm posting it small because that's what the show is all about - small images.

Absoflippinlutely gorgeous. Man, I'd buy this in a second if I had the bucks (which, at the moment, I do not), but I'd want to see it every day, and that's sayin' somethin'!!

It's really beautiful Gene and well worth the time and effort.
Small things can be intimate treasures.
Just ask Karl Faberge.

Gene I have always enjoyed seeing your work and this is no exception!! Beautiful stuff!!

What a beautiful gem. I would love to hold this in my hands for a close look.

All the best,
Daniel

Thanks, Nicole and Daniel. I'm afraid I have gotten hooked on bromoil minatures. I worked on a couple more this morning and have managed to speed up the inking. One of the problems, at least for me, is that even the tinyest flaw is soooo obvious with a such small image. Cheers, Gene

Beautiful...so much like an impressionist painting. I applaud your work in such a small format!
