This was taken while out hiking the Mills Lake Trail in Rocky Mountain National Park.

Taken using a Zone VI 4x5 camera and Fujinon SW 125mm F5.6 lens. Shot on Fomapan 200 rated at 125 and using a minus blue filter. Developed in Pycrocat MC for 8.5 minutes.

Why there is a decidedly three-dimensional feeling to this I do not know. I would say that that was due, perhaps, to the absence of a yellow filter, but you included that (despite the background still remaining rather diminished through haze). The filter must have been only 'slightly' minus blue! - David Lyga
