My wife and I try to get out for a couple of hours on New Year's day every year to decompress a bit.

Did you splice these (physically or digitally)? I did a lot of physical splicing (eg the official photo of Filmore Auditorium Last Waltz) and adding an elbow onto an album cover portrait of Michael Bloomberg (Chicago blues guitar). Big fun!

However, not splicing those two photos, calling them a "diptich" is also a good idea...do you put them in the same glass frame, all in a row, or do you think of them the way we see them here?
 
Two separate prints in this case placed together. I'm not sure about spacing and if the stacked layout works. I have a couple of others from the same base location. I had not envisaged a combination originally, otherwise I would have kept the tripod fixed and had the option of a long splice. Printing both down onto 11x14 ought to work. The frame size is 24x58mm, so a 5x-6x enlargement is possible. These were 9.5 inches long.

I see it more like the mind sees - and aggregation of images to get the impression of the space.
