Mill at Little Salkeld - Tea toned cyanotype

Unfortunately I put the cyanotype in the tea - then got listening to a concert on the radio and completely forgot about it... hence the very dark colour. But it's my second cyanotype print (the first was hopelessly fogged - I learned to try 20 mins in the sun rather than 30 mins)... photo taken handheld with a Speed Graphic, using (I think) ADOX 50 ASA 4x5 film. Cyanotype direct from negative.

Where did that colour come from? I have toned in tea for hours and only ever come out with tan, browns and blacks.

Hi Phill, The scan made it look more 'red' than it was in real life, the original is more brownish. I just didn't want to start fiddling with colour balance on the computer as that seems against the spirit of the gallery somehow.
