Late 2007. The shutter was slow-ish and I used to be afraid or neurotic about being able to secure a decent image but now if I'm in that situation I just find myself moving with the subject. It usually works. I think he looks a bit 19th century for some reason.

I like this image. My first thought was that it looked like 1965, but when I read your description, yes, 19th century does fit the scene.
