Mikkatsuki Falls

Mikkatsuki Falls

One of my favorite Waterfalls here in Japan. Only been printing about a month, but slowly getting more confidence in being able to show my work. This is a straight print, no dodging or burning. Some of the shadow detail was lost in the scan. I am looking for any advice on how to improve the print. Any advice, thoughts or anything would be greatly appreciated and welcomed!! Thank you for looking.

I love the transparancy of the waterfall. Great job! Just like the previous comment, I would like to see some more detail in the whites.

Wow! A spectacular image! I swear I can see a face behind the waterfall. The only thing I MIGHT change is to lighten up the two very black areas on the right and left. Not much, just a bit. But if you like them that way, by all means keep them.

I want to thank everyone for the kind and helpful words. I will try to reprint it, maybe using split grade printing, maybe it can pull out more of the details.

Also shot this on Velvia as well, hopefully they will be back from the lab by next week.

Thanx Again!

Gary
