Mikkatsuki Falls 2009

Mikkatsuki Falls 2009

My ongoing series of waterfalls of northern Japan. This one is from my annual visit to one of my favorite falls. Decided to try actually standing in the river for this one, which was colder than I thought.

This is actually a digital snapshot of a Cibrachrome Print my friend made for me. The original is 16x20. I tried to get it to match the original print as close as I could, though it lost a little of the highlight detail.

Any and all comments are welcome and greatly appreciated.

A beautiful spot indeed. I would love to see the ciba. It is difficult to tell if it is a huge waterfall or an intimate detail of a small brook. My compliments

Beautiful, I love the fanning falls near the top, makes this a little more unique than a usually waterfall I think.

Thanks for the nice comments. Its not a huge waterfall, only about 15 feet high, but for some reason it always keeps me coming back at least once a year.
