I particularly like this portrait, out of all of the ones you've uploaded recently. The depth of field works really well here, the tight crop gets us close and intimate; I feel that at a certain distance in a portrait, I'm naturally drawn to the eyes, and that definitely happens here, while at greater distance it becomes more of an observation of the entire face. That intimacy is really intriguing, and you've done well to capture it. It feels deeply personal this portrait.
Thank you both for your comments, really appreciate it. I've been drawn to making these tight portraits lately for a variety of reasons... just a more contemplative way to make pictures than when I'm running after the kids.
