No, it is a MGC
Same body but has a power bulge in the bonnet to accommodate the larger engine - British Leyland C Series engine - straight 6, cast iron block, 2700cc capacity
It is a Mark 3, I think ?
Looks to be in good condition - someones pride and joy.

MGC's are unusual beasts, and I guess especially with the GT body. Their reputation was that they didn't handle as well as B's due to the extra weight of the monster engine.
I had a '67 B, with wire wheels and winged knock-off centers. I'd clean the wheels at the high pressure self serve car wash every so often.
I appreciate the comments, thanks! I assumed it was a “B” when I photographed it, but when I did a little research trying to figure out the year I determined it was a “C”. The funny thing is that at first I missed the fact that the Cars license plate number is 1 MGC. And yes this is a well loved car, and a treat to photograph.

Yes - they understeered like a pig.
Understeer is where the car doesn't turn as quickly as the steering wheel angle indicates it should.
All that extra front axle weight together with the increased front spring stiffness - were the route causes of the problem.
