Nice station, DW. I am always glad to see these handsome little buildings preserved. And Panatomic-X? Where did you get it, or have you stored it in your inventory for decades?
Thanks. In 2014 I received a hundred foot bulk roll from a friend cleaning out another friend's house after she relocated. I doubt it was even stored refrigerated, but it has an expiration date of December 1988 so it was likely among the last made. I've seen enough occasional unexplained spots, blivets, and grunge that I would never use it for a granddaughter's wedding or anything. But there's a certain warm fuzzy about using 30+ year old film in the "Brick" that I bought at the end of 1957! And it unquestionably produces images.
That rail line likely hasn't seen passenger trains since the 1960s, and that little station was probably ignored even before that. But the freight traffic is *seriously* active. While I was there a Norfolk-Southern freight came through with SIX locos on the head end, a real ground shaker!
