Memphis Benches

It was 3:00AM in downtown Memphis. I was passing through town and decided to walk about and capture my first street images.

good decision, nice result. it is a long time now since I'm thinking to try my hand at night exposures but couldn't pull myself out of the house. thanks for the inspiration

very nice.
the depth of field works very well with this shot. the out of focus lights in the background give to the wet rainy atomsphere in the photo.

I like your night shot especially in the rain and for that reason I would suggest that you crop out the right hand side so as to exclude that dry portion of footpath. I feel it would give the photo a more uniform look. Try it and see what you think.

Cheers

TEX,

That's an interesting idea; actually it wasn't even raining that day...the sprinklers created this effect. It may look better if cropped out, I'll have to try.

Thanks,
Nick

Great night shot, can't see how you could make it better. But 3am.... you need some warm milk to help you sleep!

I was looking at your gallery after the "TMX/TMY" post and found this gem. You need to keep staying up late, this is excellent. All the best. Shawn
