Melinda at my kitchen counter - July, 2005

This was shot using an 11x14 Improved Seneca View with a Wollensak 15.5" Variable Focus Velostigmat at f/4.5. Exposure estimated at about 1/2 sec, but I have no shutter. The scene just opened up before me...it truly was not staged except to say, "I need to take this shot."

Printed very hastily at 1AM August 1, 2005 using cyanotype.

I love cyanotypes and this is a nice rich one with a very cool looking variable focus lens. And it's an 11x14 contact print! Man-I KNOW this 12 inch laptop monitor is not doing this justice.
