A section of the Pedernales River just below the main falls. Prone to flash flooding, this past weekend was calm and quiet.

I owned a few acre "ranch" in Cele for nearly 15 years, my sis lives in Temple so we visit once in a while. I sold out when developers were encroaching on us.

I’m 30 minutes from Cele. So you must’ve gotten out of dodge right after SH 130 toll was built. Smart move
 
A lovely picture, reminds me of one I took many years at a state park in Virginia, although a 4x5 negative would enlarge far more than my 35mm shot. Any more images to share?

I sold out in the spring of 2004. I lived just across the road from the Cele Saloon, best danged BBQ in the world back then. I was there when Secondhand Lions was filmed.
