Reminds me of the pathway to the village below our hill or base when I was in Vietnam. Boiled bamboo roots that are mashed aren't bad eating either.
 
This appears to be very shaded. I'm really surprised there is so much IR light available. I'm not sure of my question, other than, how on earth?
