Mechanical abstract

I love old and not so old abstracts from mechanical things......you are welcome to guess about this one. The more interesting thing about it is that is is a lith using Kodak Polycontrast RC that "expired" in 1979. It is a bit fogged at the edges, but perfectly usable. I made a darker version of it toned in gold that looks completely different. The bad news is that it is pretty hit and miss....lots of surface defects, but I still love it. If anyone has any old Polycontrast that they want to get rid of, shoot me a PM.

Shot with a Hasselblad with 80mm at f4 and lots of extension tubes on Acros
Hey Mark, nice print! Wonderful abstract quality, and nicely treated.

nice guesses......it is the compressor section of a turboshaft engine from an old helicopter. There is military museum in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin......actually a cross between a museum and a junk yard.....that has all sorts of interesting things.

Mark- Very nice. It almost looks anatomical, like cartilage from an alien...
