(Anyone that wants to go up in the air.. remember... gloves and goggles!)

Old picture of me, from early 2010.

Im in the back, preparing to do some aerial filming (video).

So I decided to bring my RB67 ProS along for the ride.. even with the side door completely off (dont worry I was in a harness). Even put in a new roll mid flight :3

Anyway it was supposed to be 1/250th.. but this lens was stuck at 1/15th (I wouldnt know this for a while though) at speeds faster than 1/15th.

Stu in the front out of focus there is hand holding taking a pic of the two of us.

Ektar 100, processed in Flexicolor at home.

Started at Tyagrah, rose up, went out to Minyon Falls.. up the side of a water fall then flew out and circled the Gold Coast around Surfers Paradise/Broadbeach :)


Terrific hand holding job at 1/15th (as are the landscape views).. sharp.. though you can see the ghosting around my arm.

1/15 th in a flying helicopter! That is insane! And you still got a perfectly reasonable sharp photo... Well, I guess his hands acted like an analog equivalent of IS :wink:

Some of th actual aerial shots are pretty good too.

Though foreground becomes sharp when Heli is rotating or moving past, with the background being soft due to the background moving. Odd effect.
