A subdued event, apparently. Is there a significance to the costumes?
I'm not sure about the significance or otherwise of the costumes. A few minutes after I took this photograph I spotted them on a lecture next to St Giles Cathedral. I thought they might be French.

The thought of a disguised Begbie and girlfriend outside the four Corstorphine jewellers is hilarious. Begbie was never fond of Renton.
