From that last (and first for a whole year) photoshoot.
Unfortunately the film I used was severely damaged by humidity while being kept in the refrigerator.
The good thing is that I considered it more like a test shoot and I am sure I can reshoot the frames I liked and expand on the subject.
I would have loved to do a whole and complex series on the Carnivale as I have named it, but its really hard to find models around here...
Gorgeous composition, unusual. Too bad about the diseased appearance of the skin! Well maybe something can be done. What about burning it in to an almost pure silhouette, leaving the face as is.
Thank you guys. Gerry, that is quite a compliment; every model shoot should aspire to be like Newton's!
And Keith and Mark, I will try again, but the "disease" is spread up to some dark grays that I am not sure how they will respond if burned or held as I don't want to lose some of their form definition. This is grade 5 in an already contrasty negative. I do have to reshoot some frames though that weren't so lucky to hope for a darkroom rescue. It was going to be today, but alas, the model rules and she decided to cancel on me last moment; typical.
