You caught the "fire" in her didn't you. I like this.

Her hair and the dark on her left draws the viewer into her face.
 
Thanks. This was on our honeymoon. We had just been out for a dinner and the waiter had given her a red rose. So I thought , well let's see if we can use it in a shot. So the only lit place on the beach was under this lamp so I set up and told her not to smile. I had to use a slow shutter so the wind coming off the sea caught her hair and she moved slightly distorting her face just a little. I did bracket 5 or 6 rounds but this was the only usable shot and the negs are lost. I scanned this from the one print I have left. That's the story. It's my favorite picture I've ever done.
 
It sure is magical.
