The high vantage point was to minimize front and rear standard adjustments, and to minimize the doors. From ground level, the doors were too dominant, and took away from the grandeur of the massive entrance way and decor.

If it became possible, I'd gladly do the shooting - just to get to watch Andrew work. Phenomenal - again. Its a treat to see your work, Andrew.

Spectactular! Adjective used before, but there is no better. You made it so with difficult positioning you knew was necessary. It is just beyond words Andrew. Those revolving doors are just the neatest, but your decision to put them where they belong was the skill of the eye. if you ever need a starving artist assistant....

Fantastic image Andrew! I'm not even sure I can imagine balancing an 8x10 camera on a ladder - well worth the effort though.

It would be worth a trip to Vancouver to see the print! My husband says - "bet Worksafe BC wasn't involved."

@MattKing, I always start goofing around if someone photographs me, so it would have to be a covert operation...like the photo you took of me!
