I don't know how to say this without appearing "picky" but given this is the same film as was used in the fairground shots I cannot help but think that the adjustments you made to the scan settings must have been different. This one looks great and is what I'd have expected from Portra but the other two still look to be both desaturated and "greenish"

It might be worth examining your scan settings

I didn't realise an image could be this sharp.

pentaxuser, I will reattempt a rescan and look for any differences. I had to adjust the tint in every image from that roll. The roll sat since this summer, and maybe got hot in the car as I was shooting another assignment, so that might have been part of it. This is also one of the first four rolls of color I developed, so it might well be operator error. Do you think it might be the chems? The data sheet for Portra says to use Kodak chemicals, but this was developed in a Rollie kit, so that might also account for the color cast. They are two very different shooting situations on the same roll developed using one technique, this coupled with my inexperience= results. I am just glad that I could recover it to where it is.

I agree with pentaxuser above but WoW ! Would she pose for Brentwood & District Photographic Club ?

Aside from all the technical discussion, it's a beautiful portrait. The end result is what matters most to me, even though I'm an engineer and tech person.

Thanks for the reply, Doug. I doubt if using non Kodak chemicals made a difference. Glad you were able to correct whatever was needed for the portrait. I suppose it depends on the conditions in the car and how long the film was subject to excessive heat.
