Margot relaxing on a sculpture

What a great shot - I love the way the oversized hat doesn't quite hide the expression of slight boredom. The crisp shadow just finishes it off.

Looks good except I think she has quite a workman-like expression. As if she's about to push home the final spike as in the golden spike joining the trans America railroad. She might have an engineering inclination. The gene isn't confined to males. Pity we've only learned that in the last 10 years or so but plenty of time for her.

Splendid photo. I like your composition, especially the way you've used the sculpture in the background to mirror her. Possibly a touch too much empty space on the right, I don't know. But what I find really interesting is how Ailsa and Pentaxuser have both read completely different meanings into her expression...

Thanks for the comments. Bored indeed. I agree with the empty space on the right Ian, I didn't frame it as it should have been, more of the curve of the sculpture on the left and less emptiness on the right.
