Nice work Alex, why not use the 7x17? Ratio is aprox what the 8x20 would have been.

Thanks Miles & Mike.

Mike, I didn't have the 7x17 when I did this one, just the 8x10. On the 8x10, there was way too much dead foreground. So, decided to chop the 8x10 neg into two 4x5s and enlarge. Maybe I'll get back there with the 7x17 one of these days.

Makes perfect sense then Alex, you take to the 8x20 ratio well.

Wonderful, Alex! I've been watching this over the last couple of days when I've been busy in the darkroom, and there are so many questions asked, with so little answers provided. That is a great quality in a photograph, in my opinion. It's a very interesting photograph!
