Manhattan Ice Diptych

Manhattan Ice Diptych

Another 8x20 panoramic made by chopping a single 8x10 negative. This is the aspect ratio it should have been done with in the first place.

Comments and criticisms always welcome.

Thanks Miles & Mike.

Mike, I didn't have the 7x17 when I did this one, just the 8x10. On the 8x10, there was way too much dead foreground. So, decided to chop the 8x10 neg into two 4x5s and enlarge. Maybe I'll get back there with the 7x17 one of these days.

Wonderful, Alex! I've been watching this over the last couple of days when I've been busy in the darkroom, and there are so many questions asked, with so little answers provided. That is a great quality in a photograph, in my opinion. It's a very interesting photograph!

Alex, no please don't! I really appreciate it for that very reason. It's up to me to interpret the content - and that's what makes it interesting!
