Mdina? A magical place I thought. I met an old WWII veteran there who had been attached to a gun battery while still underage for service. They were prepared to defend the island to the last man if necessary. Probably the best of the island's attractions. I like the glow from the light. Lith and old empty streets gives it a kind of surreal atmosphere.
