I love the viewpoint and the balustrade visible across the bottom left corner puts the viewer in your shoes rather precisely. Looking at your image at one in the morning here in Australia and still a lovely 20 degrees C (68F), I'm getting a perfect sensory overload here of summer nights out on the town.
Glad it resonates for you. Interesting how one image can evoke very different things to different viewers; my memory of this is cool and rainy, as it was raining off and on all day that day, and again some the next, and it was more like 50-55F outside at the time (thus no diners at the outside tables).
And of course, the blue is what the light ACTUALLY is, not what our eye sees - our brain re-interprets light like that to render it as close to daylight as possible. Looking at it with the naked eye it would appear white with an undertone, not aquamarine.
