An interesting series and nicely composed and exposed but like jovo I'd really look at cropping out blown out skies that don't add anything, and actually detract in a rather dramatic way. Leaving them in, in my opinion can make pictures like this look like travel shots/tourist pictures instead of pictures by a serious artist/photographer. Take us on a journey and not on a vacation.

Thanks for taking the time to look and offer some critique. Now that I have posted them and read your feelings about them I can see clearly that careful bit of cropping could have made these much better pictures. I like your distinction about journeys and vacations, it resonates with me and I shall add that to my list of mantras when either photographing or printing.
