Madewood Plantation House-1

Madewood Plantation in Assumption Parish, along Bayou Lafourche near Napoleonville, Louisiana. Madewood was built in 1846 by Colonel Thomas Pugh. It was called Madewood because - it was made of wood! The photo December 2014, 8” x 10" print January, 2015. (Previously posted, but long since deleted)
