Maddie's bromeliad...

My daughter's flower. For me, this is the first time I'm been able to pull off something I had in mind aesthetically with the technology intact.
Location
Kitchen table
Equipment Used
Seneca Competitor 5x7, Super Angulon 121/8
Exposure
18 minutes at f/45
Film & Developer
Efke PL25M in HC-110 dil H, 12:20 at 20C
Lens Filter
3.3 stop dark red
18 minutes of exposure that was worth while, great image, Paul

I like this. What has the red filter done for the image compared with no filter ?

Roy, the bromeliad was deep red with light green tips. The red filter forced the red in the flower more to white, and the green more to black, separating the tones.
