wonderful, the backwards time is the key for me ... I like this one as much as the other one , but this one is more of a metaphor , where the other is more intense emotionally... Nice single source light
The lighting is astounding...thought wetplate was UV sensitive only, studio strobes won't register? Maybe I'm wrong on that. Stellar image, in any case.

Ilya, actually this is two source light - I places a small light source behind the model.
Colin, you're correct - collodion is much more sensitive to UV. For this and other 90% of my plates I use self-made continues lighting (http://www.ambrotype.ru/blog/wetplate3/01.jpg). But some time I use flashes (Profoto 1200Ws + Profoto 600Ws) - the trick is to remove all glass diffusers and leave only flash tube (it made from special glass which transmits UV). You also have to place flash about 1m from he sitter. Or you can use prof strobes with 2400 or even 4800 Ws.
