Very nice! I like alternative views of iconic places.

Gorgeous, there is no end to looking into this and getting lost. Thanks, Peter, for sharing

I start wondering if there's anyplace you haven't taken great images. Beautifully don, as usual. I particularly like the perspective, and getting the detail up close. 'Gives a more tactile feel to a place. 'Completely different image, but it reminds me of Barnbaum's shot of the llama around the ruins at slightly more than hallitosis distance.

Thank you for your comments ! This is one of the few images I took of Machu Picchu, where suddenly both cameras decided to malfunction. So I have but a few photos of this phantastic place, because of what my witchdoctor would call "bad JouJou.". 24 hours later, both cameras were working fine.

Bad JouJou never sleeps And sometimes we get images like this anyway. I can only imagine your state on having the 2nd camera malfunction.
