That looks like a marvelous place to stop in and have a pint and good conversation with friends!! :D

Looks like a great Black Country pub. Did the guy with the pint in his hand stay still for the whole of the 2 mins. He certainly looks sharp. Looks like he is drinking a Black Country mild -Banks's?. Best place in Britain for mild beer - a seriously undervalued pint in these days of "blow your head off fizz".pentaxuser

Ma Pardoe's is a home brew pub, none of that "Spoilt by Progress" Banks' stuff :D. Altough at this point their beers were being brewed elsewher, I have a series shot in the brewery itself. Ian

Great shot. However in the old daus of the 1970's you couls till have a smoke with your beer with impunity. Is this really progress?

For your lungs and others' lungs around you I'd have to say YES :DYes Ian, Banks' isn't bad but I thought the Black Country Mild in the old pub in the Black Country Museum was better. I think it was just called Black Country Mild. It didn't seem to have any commercial brewer's name on it. It was a beer which could have said "enjoy your pint in the evening and still enjoy getting up the next day!"pentaxuser

Wonderful, Ian. I love the stove in the center of the room; it suits the atmosphere very nicely. Wish I could be there for a glass. Tradition is very close to my heart.

Awesome composition, perfect exposure. Thanks for sharing
