Jim, thanks for sharing a little slice of a country I would enjoy visiting, but may never do so. Mamiya 7II? Do you happen to remember which lens? The reason I ask, it that I want to buy one later this year. Thanks for sharing.
 
yea, was the 150mm.. i shot with the 43 and 150 while there.. both incredibly sharp. one of my all time favorite camera's. and one of the best travel cameras you can get. light, quiet, with excellent optics
 
I'll second Jims comments on the Mamiya 7 (II) optics as well as the camera itself !!! The sharpest glass I own and thats against my Hassy (Zeiss) glass--The standard 80 is fabulous but the 65 is the PERFECT travel lens for me-----I here the 150 is a gem as well. I have three lenses and there's no lackluster performer in the bunch-------my 50 mm Mamiya 7 lens versus my 50 mm C T* Hassy---The Mamiya blows it away----no comparison !! Best MF I own !!!
