I like this one a lot. The smooth skin of the kid against the rough texture of the log appeals to me.

I love the shot, but i'm going to pick a small nit here and suggest burning the edges down when you get around to printing it. The lightness on the right side and in the corners is somewhat distracting to me, and tends to lead my eyes away from the little girl. Other than that, this one's a keeper. It belongs on the wall.

Mike I agree completely and appreciate the suggestion to darken up the edges. I didn't want to manipulate the neg scan in PS, but will be sure to give it a go when I get the chance to print it. Thanks, Karen
 
I shall say again-though I like digital (it is here to stay)-but nothing tops TRI X and a great camera. Fantastic photo.
