Neat architecture. What are the benefits of using IR film is this situation (I haven't used IR film before)?

I also think it's an interesting rendition. The high contrast seems to benefit the clean lines and minimal structure. Nice work.

Thank you everyone for your comments, much appreciated. I think IR film is ideal for architectural shots especially if the building is white and the sky is clear or containing just a few strategically placed white puffy clouds. I like the impact that it lends to my photography without any further intervention on my part except for printing . I heard Tim Rudman proclaim that lith printing of IR negs was a marriage made in heaven and after seeing some of his work I have no reason to doubt him. I'm afraid I don't have the patience for extra enhancements beyond basic printing.
I always thought that Washington DC would offer an IR worker great scope to express himself. See if you can get there before I do.
