Your very small DOF is to me the key to the great picture. Did you choose the small dept of field or is it the effect of the Lith?

DOF is due to being at minimum focusing distance and wide open.

I know wath DOF is. I tried to ask you if it was a result of your choice when you took the picture or as a result of the Lith development.

Sorry. Your English is fine, mine was a little abrupt. My choice was limited to amount of available light. Camera was on the floor, wide open to give fastest shutter speed. Either 1/15 or 1/30 I would have guessed. Obviously focus is on the eyes, but yes I do think that the Lith has enabled the right eye to stand out against the near black on the right side of his face enhancing the limited DOF on his eyes.
