This is a strong graphic image without being brilliant . Perhaps it's just the presence of the other tree's in the background that take away from the main subject. It is still a very good shot IMO and I would be happy to have taken it.

Really lovely! Looks like there's nice, subtle yet distinct detail in that dark trunk. I like the way the elements don't allow the background to be completely obscured, but keep them faint. Very nice.

The other trees right are very good. The left background distrubs me a bit.

Lovely image, really like the silhouette effect.
I wonder if this is a very tall tree.
It also looks like a place with lots of potential for images.
