Agreed - great capture indeed. So many wonderful elements here, especially the triangles and pyramids, and the great decisive moment thing you have going on. Very impressive.

I'd crop so that the pyramids are plumb and level. But great moment seen and captured.

@Colin Corneau Call me crazy but un-level horizons drive me up a wall. Not to say I haven't shot plenty of them myself.

I see it now that you mention it

I shoot a lot of unlevel horizons, when doing street photography, and it's unintentional...but this is not ideal, I agree.

Yeah- in this case because it's so much about geometry, it's obvious.

Obsession with geometry takes away from appreciating what's been shared with us. IMO.

Arguably this photo isn't about geometry, It's more about the kid and what he's seeing.

A fine photo.

@jtk If you want to argue that perspective, then it should have been MORE askew. It would be an interesting experiment to try leveling it both ways - get the horizon dead level, and crop accordingly, and then level it so the kid is perpendicular to the horizon of the frame. See which way looks better.
