Lost Buoys

Shot in early morning fog. Let the buoys go black for the effect of being "lost". I like the grain so apparent.

Lovely shot - simple but extremely effective.
I like the title - doesn't it lose a little with the American pronunciation though !

Cheers CJB

Thanks, I tried to emphasize the starkness of the silhouettes against the delicate tones of the water, fog and sky. For some reason the fog on the left have the highlights a little blown out from the scanning process.

I went to a recent Michael Kenna exhibition in Banbury, U.K. This one reminds me of some prints I saw there. I like the title.
