Lost and Found: Southern Plantation

This is from a group of negatives I purchased. Photographer unknown.

Does anyone know where this is?
Rosedown Plantation, St Francisville, LA! A classic view of one of the most beautiful antebellum homes on the River Road. I have shot here innumerable times - mostly in 35mm Kodachrome. Next trip down (April or May of next year, depending upon when CC Lockwood schedules his Atchafalaya Basin workshops), the nod will go to the Hasselblads w/PanF+ and Velvia 50.

Thanks Bradley! I believe the photographer was local to California. So this makes more sense than the southeast. Really surprised me though considering the moss in the trees.
I may have some more to identify in the near future.

@darinwc
St. Francisville is where Audubon painted many of his bird paintings. As to moss (Spanish Moss) it can be found in almost every part of Louisiana. It is a member of the pineapple family in case anyone is interested.......Regards!

Whenever I see one of these tree framed roadways leading to the front of a plantation it always gives me recall to the Twilight Zone episode called, "Incident at Owl Creek Bridge". This has that classic look and feel of the deep south for many of us.

Here was a 23 minute version from Youtube. This one says Occurrence instead of Incident. I think there are a few versions from the original. The tree lined road or path is towards the end leading up to the Plantation.
