@jnanian There's really no such thing as an un-manipulated photo. It's just a degree of how much manipulation. Contrast controls, dodging and burning, choice of print exposure, etc. In the case of this image the light sucked so I really went to town on it. :smile:

That rock/island was mystifying at first...the way it glows like something from some other world. Would love to see the print.

The geometry is also very unrealistic... Nature is pretty damn unrealistic when you stop to think about it.

Reminds me of Zardoz ... which I, among a half dozen others on this planet actually liked. It got the worst reviews in cinema history but this photo is beautiful, especially thanks to the strangeness.
