Damn! I see the scratch, and that's really disappointing. I liked this negative. Even with a magnifying glass I can't see the scratch on the film, so I was hoping it was something on the scanner, but after rescanning, it's still there. Thank you, all, for your comments.
Yes, using the 'healing brush' in LightRoom or PS would fix the scratch, but, no, that's not Kosher here. I can't wait to be able to set up a new darkroom.!
One more thought about the 'scratch'. I'm not sure that's what it is as no other negative on the roll has the same line. What I now think is that it's a power line that I didn't see and didn't focus on. When I return to this place I'll see if there actually is one there. In composing with the wide angle lens I used, I didn't notice it.
