Well Lomo Purple clearly works well. After a few months, I dare you to present this as evidence in a thread called: "What has happened here- looking for advice"

@pentaxuserSeems to me I missed that controversy. I consider LP a toy film that goes well with toy cameras. I can't imagine myself shooting anything serious with it.

It is interesting how relative is the notion that certain materials or equipment is a "toy". I remember Minor White talking about being in some kind of photo class or workshop, I'm guessing in the 30's. The other students ridiculed him when he showed up with his Rolleiflex and said it was a pathetic toy because serious photographers all used large format.
