I was scared on saturday morning. I haven't had film for a good long while now. So I loaded my 12x20 film holders and went to one of my nearby "staple" locales to explore some.
even though I had neglected my true love (photography), she still welcomed me back with open arms.
I was so excited by the negative yesterday afternoon, that I printed it last night. :)
Always like to hear peoples comments/thoughts/critiques/etc
Ya know Matt... having seen the beauty of a 12x20 contact print up close, my monitor just doesn't do this image justice. i would love to see this print with my own eyes... but alas i am too far away. keep up the good work.
thank you all for the kind words.
gene, one day Ill come visit... in fact, Ill be in your neck of the woods in december
and david, thats quite a compliment. thank you especially.
Tis a good thing I see here, Matthew...that sweet light that comes as summer ends, a small quite Texas town as the sun drops in the west and a good friend with film in his holder waiting to show us his true love. Life is good again...Thanks for sharing.
