Lock Ridge in Snow

Taken Sunday at Lock Ridge Furnace Park, a hot blast iron operation that shut down in 1921. This was from a photo walk-around organized by another APUGger. I'd been here several times, but never with snow on the ground, so it was a new experience with some interesting light reflecting upward.

DWT, 'Saw this a day or so back & was flying to fast to comment. 'Like it alot. The old structure weathering another winter seems a fine theme & nicely done.
'Thought about you while composing a Shay drive train last wk - remembering your shot of the same.

Thanks @HiHoSilver This was the second "photo walk" in a row where the -- uh -- environmental conditions -- weren't exactly encouraging to spring out of bed and get outdoors, but I got a few things from it (still have to finish off a second roll). E-speaking of locomotives, Almost Any Day Now(tm) I will upload my Great Wandering shots from the Museum of Transportation in St. Louis. I've got some other stuff up, and at least figured out The Plan(tm).
