Cheers Vincent, can't take all that much of the credit really. Richard was guiding me through how to do it. Was really good hands on experience though. I learned a lot and it gave me a real feel for the process.
Sweet. I like the image a great deal. I'm curious if the ink was red. I also hate to bore with technical questions but do you know the collodion formulation? I think Richard employs a lithium collodion.
What ink would that be? I'm not sure. He said that his developer was taken from E.M Estebrooks Photography in the studio and the field. Here's the formula taken from the book. Water 64oz. Ferrous Sulphate 4oz. Acetic Acid 4oz. Alcoholic solution of tannin (tannic acid) 10g to the oz. Cheers
