First roll of film through the SL66. Can't believe how sharp this looks. This is a neg scan and I am sure will make a nice print. Liz is never too patient when I ask to make an image but I like this. Lit by window light.

Dude, that's beautiful. Yep, selling off the LF gear was the right decision...

Gorgeous portrait, Carl. I agree with Andre about it being sensual. It would be very interesting to see a print of this.

Carl,
You have a winner there! Great portrait photograph, too. Bet the camera is nice as well.

Carl, what a beautiful wife you have. IMHO you succeeded in bringing out her femininity, sensuality and strength, just by photographing her lovely face = pure simplicity.

A lovely tender portrait. You're lucky to have such an understanding subject and partner.

All the best,
Daniel

Gotta love that Rollei gear and those Planar lenses! Wonderful work! Wonderful!

Many thanks to all that have commented! Your input appreciated! Liz made the comment that there is shadow under her eyes that she doesn't like!? The good news is she like this enough to maybe be a little more amiable to have a reflector sitting in her lap or on he floor to address this issue. A little diffusion under the enlarger lens might help to soften this a little - maybe just too sharp?
