I had to shoot this image at 1/15 sec and is a little bit soft. In a 8x10 print looks fair but won't be that way in a bigger size, any suggestions about make it sharper? Maybe it's a silly question but will appreciate any idea
Sometimes larger isn't better and sometimes sharper isn't better. My suggestion would be to print it larger and see what the emotional impact is, if it is still as strong.
Very interesting series.
Well, you could try an unsharp mask. The idea is to produce a mask, like a contrast mask, that is slightly unsharp, so that when printed in register with the original negative it increases edge sharpness. There is a good discussion of the technique in an article by Howard Bond in a special issue of _Photo Techniques_ called _Mastering the Fine B&W Print_, and he has written about this in other contexts as well. "Unsharp masking" in Photoshop is based on this traditional graphic arts technique.
